What:  Consistently exceeded forecast $2-5M monthly and quarterly shipping goals in spite of part and material shortages affecting the planned production schedules for hundreds of products to ultimately build and ship over $48M for my business unit. 

• Developed new systems and processes to improve internal machine shop production part management and supply chain purchasing ordering consistency and lead times by more than 50-120%.

• Implemented better and more relevant production performance metric reporting to increase visibility and accountability without detracting from improvement initiative and morale.

• Built and improved company employee culture and skills by leading, building trust, and engaging through individual and group mentoring and training programs for production line leaders and managers.

• Implemented productivity cost saving and other programs that increased overall manufacturing productivity and reduced operating costs utilizing internal and external resources to reduce inefficiencies and lower costs by over $3M across the facility.

• Managed team of production managers, planners, assemblers, and inspectors while driving operational efficiency focused on reducing waste by conducting daily review meetings and optimized procedures under AS910 guidelines. 

• Developed capital budgets and implemented plans for product design and manufacturing productivity improvement projects.  Proactively and continuously sought out ways to reduce cost and time schedule impacts without affecting product quality or customer satisfaction. 

• Measured, maintained, and reported production output data and other management KPI data to the executive management group.

• Mentored, focused on meeting purposes and agendas, and encouraged cross-training to foster growth in employee and supplier relationships to improve and grow business strength resulting in responsibility redundancy and multi-discipline thinking and application of knowledge.
